Statistical Analyst in Depositary Services

The Depositary Services team is part of the Large Corporates and Institutions Services (LC&I) unit within the Corporate, Institutional and Investment Banking Services (CIIB) area. Located in Vilnius, our team consists of six members, including the Team Leader, and we are currently seeking to welcome a seventh member.
Joining our Depositary Services team provides the opportunity to gain comprehensive knowledge of financial instruments and investment funds, as well as to contribute to the development of the Depositary Services offerings at Danske Bank. We are looking for a detail-oriented team member with an interest in data and financial markets. The ideal candidate will possess good analytical skills and problem-solving abilities.

You will be responsible for performing analyses and controls to ensure that our Depositary Services clients’ investment funds are managed effectively.
Mission
- Monitor cash flows in and out of the funds’ accounts
- Ensure the fund units are issued and/or redeemed in accordance with fund rules
- Verify that the fund adheres to relevant investment restrictions
- Ensure correct market value calculations
- Reconcile the funds’ financial instruments and cash balances
- Support your colleagues in the Nordics and Lithuania in their day-to-day work
- Take a collaborative role in developing and improving existing processes by coordinating with colleagues and IT teams
Skills
- Knowledge of financial markets and curiosity about investment funds
- Relevant experience in asset management or banking (working with controlling/ analysing and/or reporting) would be a beneficial asset
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Excel. Knowledge of VBA would be advantageous
- Detail-oriented, flexible, organized and have a systematic approach while performing tasks
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal, and continual learning attitude
- Higher education degree in Finance or related field would be a beneficial asset
- Upper-Intermediate English skills, both written and verbal

We will ensure that exact salary offered for you will be based on your qualifications, competencies, professional experience and requirements for the corresponding job function (salary range from 2000 EUR to 3000 EUR gross EUR/monthly).
