At Danske Bank, our Data Platform Tribe within Technology Services / Data & Functions is actively engaged in providing centralised enterprise reporting and analytics services, leveraging Data Warehouse, Hadoop, and Cloud technologies across various banking domains.
We are seeking skilled software engineers to join our vibrant and collaborative Legacy Data and Quality squad. Here, you will play a pivotal role in revolutionising our data landscape by driving the end-to-end development of a robust Data Quality Framework across Data Warehouse, Big Data, and Cloud platforms. This framework will guide the management of data quality organisation wide. You will have the opportunity to implement high-tech Data Quality and Lineage tools, facilitating data quality monitoring, profiling, and cleansing.

Mission
- Design and Develop: design, construct, install, test, and maintain advanced data quality management frameworks
- Data Quality: recommend and implement processes for data quality, lineage, and reconciliation
- Collaboration: team up with data warehouse, big data, and cloud infrastructure developers on several projects
- Troubleshooting: expertly diagnose and resolve complex data quality incidents
- Optimisation: enhance system performance through meticulous testing, troubleshooting, and the integration of cutting-edge elements
- Continuous Learning: stay updated on technology trends, applying the latest advancements to both current and future solutions
- Data Pipeline Management: develop and oversee sophisticated data pipelines and data workflow management systems
- Data Security: ensure all systems adhere to industry standards and business requirements regarding accuracy, security, and privacy
Skills
- 5+ years of Data Engineering experience
- SQL Expertise: advanced proficiency in SQL for complex query writing, database design, and optimisation in large-scale SQL databases
- Python Skills: solid programming skills in Spark, PySpark, Python, CI/CD (Azure DevOps), and Airflow/“data wrangling” for data manipulation, scripting, and automation tasks
- Hadoop Proficiency: comprehensive skills in working with Hadoop ecosystems, including tools such as HDFS and Hive, to manage and analyse large data sets
- Data Architecture and Pipelines: ability to design and build data pipelines and frameworks for data collection, processing, and storage, especially with experience with real-time technology
- Problem-Solving: great problem-solving skills, capable of troubleshooting complex data issues and implementing effective solutions
- Agile: some understanding of and preference for working in an agile environment
- Team Collaboration and Continuous Learning: ability to collaborate efficiently, as we value teamwork highly and willingness to stay updated with the latest advancements in data technologies and apply them to enhance current systems

We will ensure that exact salary offered for you will be based on your qualifications, competencies, professional experience and requirements for the corresponding job function (salary range from 4280 EUR to 6420 EUR gross EUR/monthly).
