Senior C++ Engineer for Markets Analytics Platform

Area

In Core Engine Services, we build and maintain our award-winning Quant Library called SuperFly, to be able to provide state-of-the-art and large-scale analytics services to our stakeholders including the trading desks, the Danish FSA, and the Market Risk department.

We are a team of three software engineers working with skilled quantitative analysts in a squad with members from our offices in Denmark, Lithuania, and India. We are an international team of mixed seniorities, and our department’s working language is English.

While the analytics functionality is being made available to the majority of our users by our sister-squad Core Analytics Services through .NET services, we build, extend and maintain the core library written in C++ in very close collaboration with Danske Banks highly skilled Quant department.

We work in a fast-paced, agile environment in close collaboration with our business partners. We are deploying value adding software to production in a continuous and granular way. Our goal is to not only create additional value for the organization but also help you, as a specialist, grow. As the former specialist in this role became a product owner, we are looking for a senior C++ engineer to join the team.

Depending on your experience and knowledge, we may offer you a different seniority for the role.

Mission

• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines and automatic tests of the C++ library
• Modernize existing functionality and facilitate cross-platform compilation to enable a move to a public cloud such as AWS
• Develop the new analytics capabilities needed to service our clients
• Maintain and develop the integration layer between the C++ backend and Excel, Python, and gRPC-based services

Skills

• Experience and an interest for building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines including thorough automated testing
• Advanced C++ coding abilities
• A desire to understand the business – why we do what we do and what value our business and customers gain from the lines of code you write
• A keen eye for detail and an interest in working closely with our business partners
• You are not afraid to challenge experienced colleagues in business or IT
• A good understanding of how to build robust, scalable, and maintainable solutions,
• Understanding of the financial sector is considered as a bonus considered as a bonus
• Advanced English language skills

We will ensure that exact salary offered for you will be based on your qualifications, competencies, professional experience and requirements for the corresponding job function (salary range from 4320 EUR to 6480 EUR gross EUR/monthly).
