We are currently looking for a new colleague to join the Commercial Team of the Ignitis Renewables team, where you’ll be leading a team of Category Managers across various sectors including Wind Turbine Generators (WTG), Solar, Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), Electrical Components, and Global Functions, including IT. You will contribute to green and secure energy ecosystem creation by:

• Leading, coaching, and managing the Category Management team across renewable energy sectors (wind, solar, BESS)
• Implementing category strategies and global frameworks, with a focus on the Baltics, Finland, and Poland
• Managing supplier relationships within the onshore renewable energy industry to ensure on-time, sustainable, and budget-friendly project delivery
• Leading contract negotiations and managing legal disputes, claim management, and contract execution for renewable energy projects
• Developing a business model for category management, covering tendering, contract negotiations, and supplier performance management
• Implementing Supplier Risk Management frameworks and ensuring optimal supplier performance
• Collaborating with engineering teams and project managers to address supply chain challenges and deliver project excellence
• Driving standardization across countries and optimizing the procurement and supply chain for renewable projects.

Required for this position:

• Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Engineering, or a related field
• At least 10 years of experience in supply chain or category management, with a focus on renewable energy components
• Strong knowledge of category management and supply chain challenges in the renewable energy sector
• Proven track record in contract negotiation, legal dispute resolution, and delivering value in complex project environments
• Experience in leading and coaching teams to achieve high performance
• Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills, with the ability to manage vendor and stakeholder relationships
• Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills, capable of managing competing priorities.

Would be an advantage:

• Professional certification in procurement (CIPS/CPSM) or similar qualification.

Salary range for this position group is 3812 to 5718 EUR (before taxes). The final offer depends on experience and competence. Variable part of remuneration may be paid depending on results.
