Right now I am looking for a committed and orderly project economist and controller with a sense of economics, numbers and have a distinctive, logical thinking.

My name is Ulf Söderström and I lead a customer-focused team of project managers and economists. The project managers have responsibility for over 300 customers (BtB private and public). The economists are the centre of expertise, CIS Billing Support, for the entire CIS unit's offerings in all geographic markets. CIS stands for Conversational & Integrated Solutions. We provide consulting services and provide IT cloud solutions for professional customer contacts through digital, automated and personal customer meetings (voice/video). We have over 200 employees working with product offerings such as Genesys, WebCC and TeleQ, but above all Telia ACE, which you can read more about here www.ace.teliacompany.com.

CIS is in a very exciting development and highly expansive phase in the Nordic, Baltic and some European markets. One of our economists has decided to move on to new challenges and I am looking for a replacer.

 

Your next challenge?

It is important that our customers are satisfied with the cooperation in its entirety. A piece of that puzzle is proper billing, resting on a good, financial control. We offer our customers a range of contractual and financing forms with different billing solutions. Our unit's offerings are often a component in a very large, customer business. The financial administration around this can become complex. Your role will be to support CIS various project managers and business consultants in their financial administration and invoicing of their delivery projects.

As a project economist, you provide financial information for consultancy invoicing and revenue forecasts with associated registration and invoicing in our systems (primarily SAP, Lokus and Excel). As you learn the work and begin to understand our business, you will be involved in more complex tasks and work independently with consulting and licensing billing, ongoing forecasts, and controlling and financial analysis of customers and projects.

We are nine women and three men aged 20+ to 60+ in our team. Interests span all sorts of things. From hiking to sea life, horses to long trips, literature to computer games, and cooking to hard training. The group's breadth together with a good dialogue and a lot of humor has created a dynamic and an energy where we successfully fight hard for both our customers and each other to reach our goals.

Who are you?

We are looking for you who are structured and methodical with the ability to embrace written routines and take them into practice. You also have the drive and the desire to constantly develop and streamline the way of working. You know the importance of accuracy because errors can be long-acting, costly and can above all hurt a customer relationship. The financial cycles and the dead-lines that apply to listed companies on the stock market are self-evident for you to comply with. You also know that the amount of work varies accordingly, which is why stress resistance and good simultaneous ability are important qualities of you.

Since you will have daily contact with customers and employees in Sweden but also around the Group, you must be able to express yourself unhindered in both speech, reading and writing in Swedish and English. Most computer systems you use are only in Swedish.

Your experience:

You are an economist and have studied this at the university. Depending on your education and who you are as a person, your work experience is of varying importance. Experience in SAP and consulting or project invoicing, preferably in the IT/telecom industry, is an absolute merit. Additional language skills of the Nordic or Baltic languages are also meritorious.
