Task information:

  • ​Conform and comply to the Service Level Agreements with Hollister Business Units. 
  • ​Preparation of all payroll items in accordance with local GAAP and in cooperation with appropriate outsourced payroll provider. 
  • ​Management of external accounting relationships including service providers, auditors and tax advisors, bank administration.  
  • ​Constantly monitor changes in local law requirements on payroll, timely initiate changes in the company's accounting systems and process and inform employees about changes. 
  • ​Take ownership of the correct bookkeeping and month/year end closing tasks execution related to the appropriate GAAP. Provide financial analysis to support month end reporting, pension reporting and periodic planning cycles. 
  • ​Reconciliation of payroll related Bank Statements. 
  • ​Collaborate and support in development of internal controls and policies and procedures. Communication with local business partners, corporate accounting and other corporate departments. 
  • ​Support ongoing projects to improve the effectiveness of the Payroll function and develop KPI’s. 
  • ​Expat accounting, consultant to Business Unit customer. 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a similar field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in payroll accounting.
  • ​Proficiency in using MS-Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Experience in working with Payroll Software systems.
  • Excellent proficiency in English.
  • International work experience would be an advantage.
  • Experience working with SAP would be an advantage.
  • Proficiency in German language would be an advantage.
