Task information:
- Responsible for month end closing process coordination.
- Oversee and control balance sheet reconciliations, monthly reporting, analyze variances, and determine reasons for fluctuations.
- Prepare and ensure accurate & timely reporting to the group including P&L, BS, Functional Costing, Capex, MPH etc.
- Participate in the processes of monitoring the preparation and execution of the company's short-term and long-term financial plans.
- Advise the company's employees on issues in the field of finance and accounting.
- Participation in budget forecasting.
- Coordinating the process of preparing the annual financial statements.
- Coordination of the audit process, main point of contact for audit enquiries.
- Work with continuous improvements in Business controlling area.
- Provide support in preparing documents required by the internal and external auditors.
- Ensure quality of financial information for Business decision making.
Requirements:
- At least 5 years of experience in Financial Controller role (or a senior finance specialist with at least the last 2 years in a Financial Controller role).
- In-depth understanding of accounting principles (GAAP, IFRS).
- Cognos reporting tool knowledge is considered as an advantage.
- Strong problem-solving skills & ability to work to tight reporting deadlines.
- Experience working with international companies.
- Ability to travel (once a month/once a quarter).
- Fluent English.
