Task information:

• Overseeing and organizing the company's accounting processes, preparing financial reports, and ensuring high standards in accounting practices.
• Daily management of accounting team: provide control and necessary guidance to ensure that work of each accountant is done accurately and according to highest quality standards.
• Developing and implementing the company’s accounting and tax policies.
• Preparing and submitting tax declarations in compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Coordinating month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Organizing and managing financial audits, ensuring smooth execution throughout the audit process.
• Leading and mentoring the accounting department (team of up to 10 professionals), driving team performance and development.

Requirements:

• Strong knowledge of Lithuanian accounting and tax legislation, with the ability to apply these requirements practically in daily operations.
• Solid understanding of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
• At least 3 years of experience as a Chief Accountant, Head of Accounting, or a similar senior role in a manufacturing company.
• Proven experience in team leadership and management.
• University degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.

Additional Qualifications:

• Experience with MS Dynamics 365 or a similar enterprise resource planning (ERP) system.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams.
• High attention to detail, accuracy, and a strong sense of responsibility.
• Proficiency in English (both written and spoken).
