IT Service Manager

Right now, we are looking for an IT Service Manager to join our team.

My name is Jūratė Grigoraitė a head the Product and Order Management team @ Telia Group IT Core Commerce. My team is responsible for the development, delivery, maintenance, and operations of the Common Product and Order Management solution deployed across currently two markets (B2B Sweden/B2C Finland) with prospects for further uptake.

Your next opportunity?

You will be part of the newly built DevOps Competence Center here in Vilnius with the purpose to look after the target platform and components in a common consolidated way. The solution is based on Ericsson products. It supports a centralized product catalog and enables zero-touch automation across orders to activation. Your main responsibility will be a new support organization set up while still maintaining the highest quality across our installed base.

Other responsibilities:

  • E2E service responsibility (Change and Run) and service lifecycle management
  • IT Service Management process set-up
  • Setting up support organization & way of working
  • SLA, OLA agreements with business
  • Service reviews with Countries
  • Operational readiness (service assurance, application onboarding onto global tools, security by design requirements, business impact assessment, disaster recovery plans, etc.)
  • Coordinate and enable DevOps team delivery, cross-team activities coordination, and management including offshore teams from our partners
  • Vendor management
  • Collaborate with other teams and solve complex issues
  • Service support and development quality management
  • Release/deployment quality management

Who are you?

For this position, we are looking for someone with Business and IT experience in the areas relevant to the position, with business acumen and a good understanding of the strategic and tactical issues within the IT services sector. You can manage complex environments and proactively respond to issues with an innovative yet structured approach and integrity.

Your Experience and Personality:

  • 5+ years of change management experience in the IT sector (IT Service Manager, Delivery Manager, Product Owner, Scrum Master, Release Train Engineer, Project Manager, or similar roles)
  • A degree in IT or a related field
  • Previous experience in setting up new L2, L3 support organization (significant advantage)
  • To understand large-scale IT, have ITIL and Agile, SAFe knowledge
  • Experience in enterprise environment
  • High sense of responsibility – you act on your own initiative, make things happen, and accept accountability for your results
  • Have the ability to manage complex environments and proactively respond to issues in an innovative yet structured approach and integrit
  • Good communication skills & collaboration with others
  • Advanced Jira & Confluence us
  • Fluent in English
