IT Service Manager

My name is Marianne Jacobson, and I am leading a team of great people who provide efficient delivery and excellent operations for our stakeholder business-to-operator and Infrastructure business. We are responsible for 15 IT applications, mainly for Channels, Order management, and Billing. We are looking for a person who can manage the channel area and would like to be a part of the team of six people who take care of several channels for our business.

Your Next Challenge 

We are seeking a dynamic and proactive IT Service Manager. As a results-oriented individual, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of our IT services. Here is what we are looking for: 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Be familiar with the owned systems on a high level.
• Know how the systems' lifecycle impacts the system's end users.
• Drive necessary documentation filling with the team.
• Own and be responsible for documentation delivery. 

Other areas related to this role are:

• Performance Monitoring and Optimization (Plan, monitor, evaluate, and enhance productional performance daily);
• Compliance and Security (Evaluate and report resource compliance with functional and non-functional service requirements & Take corrective actions as needed to ensure security and adherence to standards);
• Technical Data Stewardship (Understand data creation, transformation, storage, and movement within systems & Uphold data governance principles); 
• Data & Information Management (Provide technical expertise in managing information & Ensure compliance with standard rules, GDPR, and security guidelines).

Who You Are 

You are a motivated and communicative professional who thrives in a dynamic environment. Your ability to lead, coordinate, and understand the impact of IT solutions sets you apart. If you are fluent in English (both spoken and written), we would love to hear from you! Your previous experience includes:

• Proficiency in managing information effectively. 
• Strong understanding of process-oriented methodologies. 
• Proven track record in coordinating projects. 
• Ability to manage timelines, resources, and deliverables.
• Knowledge of IT systems, applications, and infrastructure. 
• Awareness of information security best practices. 
• Understanding of ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) principles. 
• Familiarity with IT service management processes 
• Proficient in spoken and written English & proficiency in the Lithuanian language would be a great bonus.

Additional Merits: 

• Experience in Telecom Business (Previous work in the telecommunications industry & Understanding of telecom-specific challenges and opportunities); 
• Licensing Management Background (Knowledge of software licensing processes & Ability to manage licenses effectively).
