My name is Giedrius Staškūnas and I am leading IT service management unit within Telia Lithuania organization. We are 200+ professionals IT Unit providing full stack of IT infrastructure services for Telia Lithuania and our business customers across the Baltics. I am currently looking for Head of Enterprise Platform Department.

Enterprise Platform Services department is 30+ IT professionals who are primarily responsible for providing various Enterprise infrastructure platforms for our customers including Microsoft windows server OS, Exchange, Microsoft SQL, Managed DB Oracle, Managed SAP Basis services as well as supporting dedicated customers IT infrastructure taking care of server’s maintenance, daily operations, automation, solution architecture and solutions delivery. In unit’s responsibility we have more than 3000 servers dedicated for Telia internal services as well as for our business customers.
As a leader you will:
- Lead the team by hiring, coaching, and developing talent, creating a positive work environment, setting goals, and removing obstacles.
- Develop and execute strategic plans and roadmaps for platform delivery, integration, optimization, and performance.
- Manage the lifecycle of technical platforms, including architecture, roadmaps, investments, operations, resources, and total cost of ownership (TCO).
- Provide leadership and technical guidance to drive transformation initiatives across the enterprise.
- Manage IT services and SLAs, ensuring delivery, cost control, adherence to ITIL and ISO standards, and quality reporting.
- Address stakeholder and customer needs, manage expectations, resolve issues, track performance, and enhance teamwork.
- Handle IT procurement, manage vendor relationships, and oversee outsourced service performance.
- Manage the budget by planning and monitoring department investments and expenses.

- Strong capability to build relationships between people and between organizations
- Excellent coaching, communication, mentoring and change management skills
- Understanding large scale IT operations with high demands on stability and security
- Dare to challenge the current “as-is” state, stress to simplify the complexity and constant seek for automation
- Motivation to care for our employees, stakeholders and customers
Your experience:
- In depth knowledge and experience of IT infrastructure including Servers, Microsoft and database platforms, networking, virtualization technologies
- Proven experience in automating support processes
- Good understanding of IT architecture principles
- Proven leadership experience, including managing other managers with business or technology responsibilities
- Track record of building and leading high-performing teams
- ITIL knowledge
- Relevant university degree.
