We are looking for a Software Engineering Team Lead who will be responsible for overseeing a team of embedded systems developers to ensure efficient and effective resolution of the developed systems issues. This role requires a blend of software engineering expertise, leadership, and interpersonal skills.

Teltonika’s telematics business unit develops and produces easy-to-use GPS tracking devices for effective fleet management in logistics, agriculture, car sharing, construction, and more. Using the latest technologies, Teltonika sets new standards for the telematics industry.  

In this role, you will:

• Lead team development and project implementation.
• Coordinate and plan projects according to Agile (Scrum) framework.
• Establish and maintain high standards of firmware within the team.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze, evaluate, and implement solutions.
• Ensure adherence to company and team-defined coding standards, documentation, and procedures.
• Drive improvements in team performance and procedures.
• Administer team member performance reviews and goal setting.

What we expect of you:

• Proven experience in programming embedded systems in C/C++.
• Good English language skills (both spoken and written).
• Possess excellent communication skills, enabling effective interaction with partners and team members.
• Demonstrate independent problem-solving abilities.
• Excel in coaching, mentoring, and empowering team members.
• Have expertise in multi-tasking, embedded system architecture design methodologies, and the latest Firmware quality standards.

We would appreciate if you:

• Have experience with CI/CD and proficiency in unit testing methods and frameworks.
• Bring prior experience in working with GSM, GNSS, BLE technologies.

Salary

We appreciate everyone's efforts and experiences, so we offer an attractive salary that will match your skillset and expertise in the field. The salary for this position ranges from 30 Eur/h up to 40 Eur/h (~4950 Eur – ~6700 Eur) pre-tax, depending on your experience and expertise.

*In an employment agreement we specify and define a fixed (tariff) hourly salary rate before taxes.
