What You Will Do:

We're seeking a Data Engineering Team Lead to continue our BI & Analytics Unit's data engineering transformation. You'll guide and mentor a high-performing team embedded within cross-functional product teams. You'll be the technical expert, setting direction, and collaborating with Product Owners to optimize data infrastructure and empower their teams.

Technical Visionary: Architect and implement a robust data delivery process aligned with best practices

Empowering Mentor: Foster a collaborative and skilled data engineering team, providing technical leadership and guidance within a matrix organization

Bridge Between Teams: Partner with Product Owners to understand their data needs and advise on strategies to leverage data effectively within their backlogs

Technical Catalyst: Perform complex data engineering tasks and troubleshoot challenges to expedite team progress

People Development Champion: Provide coaching, feedback, and HR support to help your team members grow their skillsets and careers


    What We Expect: 

    Technical Expertise: Knowledge of SQL, Python, Airflow, Linux (at least beginner level), Automation, CI/CD. Nice to have - Docker, Kubernetes, dbt, KNIME/Alteryx, cloud experience

    Leadership Acumen: Proven ability to guide, motivate, and mentor data engineers in a matrix environment

    Collaboration Prowess: Excellent communication skills to bridge the gap between data engineers, business analysts and Product Owners

    Strategic Thinking: Ability to translate business needs into effective data solutions and advise on data strategy within product teams

    Fluent English: For seamless collaboration with all team members
