Senior Solution Architect with a focus on AWS

Danica Pension is a leading provider of pension and insurance services, dedicated to helping individuals and businesses secure their financial future. Danica IT, a part of Danica Pension, is at the forefront of technological innovation within the company.
The IT architecture chapter includes 16 solution architects and one enterprise architect. There are 7 solution architects in Denmark, 1 in Lithuania, 2 in India, and 6 in Malaysia. The enterprise architect is based in Denmark.
As a Solution Architect, you will be a member of The IT Architecture Chapter, where you will collaborate on designing Danica’s future architecture. You will play a key role in refining our solution architecture practices and supporting the Technical Design Authority by enforcing approved design standards across Danica.
In addition, you will support the Shared Capabilities cluster within Danica IT. This cluster is dedicated to centralising technological capabilities, enhancing integration solutions, and providing modern customer platforms. It aims to drive modernisation and IT operational excellence by delivering superior IT tools and solutions.
Mission
- Develop and maintain integration solutions, both internally within Danica and Danske Bank and externally with partners
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, ensuring seamless integration and alignment with business objectives
- Provide hands-on technical leadership and architectural guidance for multiple squads
- Design future solutions in collaboration with a team of skilled solution architects
- Enhance Danica’s IT infrastructure by architecting APIs and integration solutions
- Support the Technical Design Authority in enforcing approved design practices and standards
Skills
- Degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, or a related field
- Over 5 years of experience as a solution architect, with expertise in building and maintaining integrations
- Proven experience in API development and system integration
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage architectural operations
- Excellent collaborative abilities in team-oriented environments
- Familiarity with cloud technologies and platforms is a plus
- Advanced English both written and verbal

We will ensure that exact salary offered for you will be based on your qualifications, competencies, professional experience and requirements for the corresponding job function (salary range from 5600 EUR to 8400 EUR gross EUR/monthly).
