
Chief Development Consultant with focus on Vendor Relations and Contract Governance

Performance Management & Traction is part the Business Management & Implementation department, who are supporting and advising the Executive Leadership in Technology & Services, Large Corporates & Institutions. The organization is responsible for application development and operations within markets, transaction and wholesale banking, asset management, financial crime prevention and process optimization and automation.
The Performance Management & Traction team is composed of seven people in total, based in Lithuania. We are a diverse group with an equal split of gender and varying degrees of seniority inside and outside the bank.
Our team has five key pillars within its purpose:
- Contributing to a full financial overview and management information to enable informed decision-making.
- Driving the performance management agenda where we monitor a wide range of metrics and KPIs.
- Vendor relations and contract governance for our most critical contracts. You will be driving this area.
- Support on People & Culture topics, and local implementation of the Group HR strategy.
- Global reporting and analytics on international payments.

The workplace is located in Vilnius. Danske Bank supports workplace flexibility (we currently use a hybrid work model, where we work at least 3 days in the office).
This role does not include a relocation allowance for candidates who are not based in Lithuania.
Mission
- Drive our local vendor governance with one of our strategic partners to create transparency and enable the wider organization to make the right business decisions
- Establish, roll-out and run a broader vendor management setup
- Monitor and drive initiatives to optimise financial spending on our portfolio contracts
- Support and advise senior management on their third-party usage
Skills
- 3+ years of experience with vendor relations and contract management. Preferably, you come with experience from a similar position
- 3+ years of experience with establishing and running governance setups, managing smaller projects would be considered as a beneficial asset
- A proactive mindset combined with the ability to take responsibility for problem-solving
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to engage employees and (senior) leaders
- An interest in numerical analysis and the skill to utilize this information to drive beneficial, value-generating choices
- A solid understanding of financial management and concepts would be considered as a beneficial asset
- Ability to write structured reports, design and prepare presentation materials using Excel and PowerPoint
- Upper-Intermediate English skills, both written and spoken

We will ensure that exact salary offered for you will be based on your qualifications, competencies, professional experience and requirements for the corresponding job function (salary range from 3440 EUR to 5160 EUR gross EUR/monthly).
Your title in job contract will be Consultant –Development, Chief.
