Do you thrive in an international and diverse environment? We are ready to welcome a Junior Procurement Specialist located in Vilnius, Lithuania.

We are a global team of 8 skilled colleagues that are working with the Procurement of Indirect Services in the bank. Our unit is part of Procurement & Premises, with 160+ colleagues globally. Our team oversees the Procurement of HR, Marketing and IT Consulting Services throughout Danske Bank. In Lithuania three persons are located on the team.

This position will give you a great opportunity to get introduced to the international banking world and to learn and grow into a full-fledge Procurement professional. In this role, you will in close collaboration with our stakeholders identify, evaluate and drive procurement initiatives and related activities. The best business value is to be achieved, while at the same time mitigating risk and ensuring compliance. All to enable us to become a Better Bank.

Ideally you have experience from the banking and finance industry and especially services procurement. You thrive from achieving positive outcomes, being delivery-proof, and showing commitment and courage. You are a non-prestigeous person, ready to handle a wide range of different agreements and service orders, while guiding your stakeholders through the procurement process.

To feel at home in this role, procurement practices paired with stakeholder and supplier management in a flexible environment makes your heart tick! You are confident in building relationships, both when it comes to your stakeholders as well as suppliers. You will be responsible for securing timely and correct execution of all kinds of sourcing tasks, from procurement cases to daily contract management activities. Continuous learning and development are highly prioritized and supported in the bank.

Mission

  • Manage a broad range of procurement activities and tasks in accordance with our Procurement policy and related guidelines
  • Work together with Category/Procurement Managers on different projects
  • Ensure timely deliveries and meet KPIs agreed
  • Work in a cross-country collaboration in a hybrid model
  • Establish and maintain a close relationship with stakeholders and suppliers

Skills

  • 1+ years of experience of procurement and / or supplier account management
  • Experience in negotiation and contract management would be a beneficial asset
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent would be a beneficial asset
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite applications
  • A person that also can work independently, with an open and flexible mindset, striving for quality in everything they do
  • Familiarity with driving progress and providing results in a global organization
  • Solid communication and relationship skills
  • Advanced English skills, both written and spoken

We will ensure that exact salary offered for you will be based on your qualifications, competencies, professional experience and requirements for the corresponding job function (salary range from 1680 EUR to 2520 EUR gross EUR/monthly).

Your title in job contract will be Procurement Specialist, Associate.
