Your expertise in Python programming and data engineering will be instrumental in building a scheduling platform on AWS, creating data transformations, data monitoring and reconciliation jobs in Python.
As a Data Engineer, you will be a part of our innovative team working on the Daily Profit&Loss application. You will be helping the team to build a new AWS-based platform. You will ensure a smooth migration of ELT, data monitoring and reporting scripts from SAS to Python language in AWS native environment. You will collaborate with a self-driven cross-functional agile squad including Analysts and Engineers. We assure you plenty of room to grow using a modern technology stack and AWS Cloud services.

Mission
- Collaborate closely with the team to build the target architecture on AWS
- Ensure smooth migration of SAS based data monitoring and reconciliation solution to AWS native one
- Ensure all code deployment is done via pipelines and all application code is stored in version control
- Work in an agile & collaborative manner within internationally (Denmark and Lithuania) distributed squad
Skills
- You are seasoned data engineer with experience in writing pyspark, python and SQL code
- (Optionally) you have experience with SAS programming language
- You have experience in creating, modifying, and maintaining date pipelines using native AWS services in data lake environment as well as creating ETL workflows targeting classic relational
- You have experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS), including managing cloud infrastructure with Terraform
- Good understanding of development lifecycle process, willingness to learn new programming languages, tools, and processes
- Have a high level of personal responsibility and commitment to the team goals
- Analytical mindset to understand the problem and turn it into solution using code as a tool
- Advanced skills in English – both written and verbal

We will ensure that exact salary offered for you will be based on your qualifications, competencies, professional experience and requirements for the corresponding job function (salary range from 3480 EUR to 5220 EUR gross EUR/monthly).
Your title in job contract will be IT Software Engineer (Cloud Specialist).
