We are seeking a skilled Software Engineer to join our dynamic and collaborative Data Quality squad. In this role, you will help transform our data landscape by leading the development of a robust Data Quality Framework across Data Warehouse, Big Data, and Cloud platforms. This framework will guide data quality management across the organisation.
You will have the opportunity to implement state-of-the-art Data Quality and Lineage tools, enabling seamless data monitoring, profiling, and cleansing. Additionally, you will help establish a streamlined process for identifying, escalating, and resolving data quality issues, ensuring precision at every stage.

Mission
- Design and Develop: Lead the design, construction, installation, testing, and maintenance of advanced data quality management frameworks
- Data Quality: Recommend and implement processes for ensuring data quality, lineage, and reconciliation
- Collaboration: Partner effectively with Data Warehouse, Big Data, and Cloud infrastructure teams across multiple projects
- Identifying and fixing: Diagnose and resolve complex data quality incidents with expertise
- Optimisation: Improve system performance through rigorous testing, troubleshooting, and the integration of new technologies
- Continuous Learning: Stay updated with technology trends, applying the latest advancements to current and future solutions
- Data Pipeline Management: Develop and oversee sophisticated data pipelines and workflow management systems
- Data Security: Ensure all systems align with industry standards and business requirements for accuracy, security, and privacy
Skills
- Experience: 4+ years of experience in Data Engineering
- SQL Expertise: Proficiency in SQL for complex query writing, database design, and optimisation in large-scale SQL databases
- Python and Data Engineering Tools: Advanced programming skills in Python, Spark, PySpark, and experience with CI/CD (Azure DevOps), Airflow, and data wrangling for data manipulation, scripting, and automation tasks
- Hadoop and Cloud Proficiency: In-depth experience with Hadoop ecosystems, including tools such as HDFS and Hive, for managing and analysing large datasets
- Data Architecture and Pipelines: Ability to design and build scalable data pipelines and frameworks for data collection, processing, and storage. Experience with real-time data processing technologies would be beneficial
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex data issues and implement effective solutions
- Agile Mindset: Understanding of and preference for working in an agile environment
- Collaboration and Continuous Learning: Strong teamwork and communication skills. Eagerness to stay updated with the latest advancements in data technologies and apply them to enhance current systems
- Upper-intermediate English skills

We will ensure that exact salary offered for you will be based on your qualifications, competencies, professional experience and requirements for the corresponding job function (salary range from 3360 EUR to 5040 EUR gross EUR/monthly).
Your title in job contract will be IT Software Engineer (Data Engineer).
