At Danske Bank, the Finance Tribe is pivotal in enabling the efficient management of the bank’s financial position and resources. By leveraging high-quality data and modern technology solutions, we ensure excellence across all financial domains. We are looking for a Chapter Lead who will play a dual role—part individual contributor and part team leader.

As a Chapter Lead, you will be instrumental in both driving the technological advancements and leading a team of skilled software engineers. This position is designed for a leader who is equally enthusiastic about coding and management, offering a unique blend of technical and people leadership responsibilities.

Mission

• Ensure that quality code and processes are implemented for high-volume financial data
• Serve as the HR manager for other skilled software engineers, accountable for their professional and personal growth, engagement, and motivation. This includes HR responsibilities, performance reviews, training, and recruitment activities
• Lead and contribute to the maintenance, design, and development of new and existing services in our business domain
• Support and collaborate with other Chapter leads in your tribe to deliver on leadership tasks and resolve issues

Skills

• Proven skills in managing stakeholders across different geographies
• Ability to develop and promote best practices within the team and broader department
• Hands-on experience with AWS native services such as Lambda, Glue, Step Functions, and Fargate
• Demonstrated leadership skills with a previous experience of team management and people development
• Understanding of CI/CD, APIs, and Microservices best practices
• Advanced English language skills

We will ensure that exact salary offered for you will be based on your qualifications, competencies, professional experience and requirements for the corresponding job function (salary range from 3920 EUR to 5880 EUR gross EUR/monthly).

Your title in job contract will be Squad Leader (Chapter Lead).
