Our international team in the Data & Analytics function works with each of the businesses to enable adoption of data and utilize analytics and data science to enhance our products and services to our clients. As a Chief Engineer you will be an important part of modernizing our Big Data platform as well as migrating different platforms to public cloud.

Your workplace will be in Vilnius, Lithuania.

Mission

As an Engineer you will:

• Analyse and improve platform’s performance and reliability
• Design, build and set up tools for deployment, operations and monitoring
• Research, development & deployment of the new platforms & solutions
• Access control, Data control
• Troubleshoot and resolve platform issues on test and production environments
• Automate processes, operations and remediation actions

Skills

• 5+ years of experience with Hadoop technology
• Expertise in operating and administering Hadoop clusters
• 5+ years of experience with Linux administration
• Familiarity with container and container orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes/OpenShift
• 5 years of experience with CI / CD tools
• Experience with public cloud (AWS or GCP)
• A team player with a good sense of ownership, motivation and willingness to take accountability and develop projects/tasks to completion
• Expertise with CHEF or Ansible as well as IAC would be considered as a bonus
• Intermediate English skills

We will ensure that exact salary offered for you will be based on your qualifications, competencies, professional experience and requirements for the corresponding job function (salary range from 5280 EUR to 7920 EUR gross EUR/monthly).
